COLLECTIBLES
Why track collectibles in a portfolio?
Collectibles can represent real value, but they are often tracked separately from financial assets.
Collectibles are often fragmented
Collectors may use marketplaces, spreadsheets, notes, grading services and collection apps to manage their items. This can work for a single category, but it becomes harder when collectibles are part of a broader financial picture.
LEGO and Pokémon as portfolio categories
LEGO sets and Pokémon cards are examples of collectible categories where users may want to follow estimated value, quantity, cost basis and performance over time. Portfolje is being built with these categories in mind.
Collectibles beside crypto and stocks
A user may own both traditional financial assets and collectibles. Seeing those categories together can make allocation easier to understand and can reduce the need for several separate tracking tools.
Not financial advice
Tracking a collectible does not mean it should be treated as a guaranteed investment. Values can move, liquidity can vary and market demand can change. Portfolje is a tracking product, not a broker, adviser, exchange or marketplace.
